1955 Austin Healey 100-4 This Healey has been one of my personal cars for about 8 years. Its an original black plate California car that I purchased in Santa Barbara. It was parked in 1963 with a steering rack issue, and was exhumed from the garage circa 2003 for new paint and interior surfaces, then sold by the original purchaser’s nephew to its current owner. About 10,000 miles have been put on since, including a 1,000 mile road trip, and mechanical freshening has included a rebuilt cylinder head and carburetors. A British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate showing original colors, matching numbers and delivery to San Diego is included in the sale. I get to take the "pick of the litter" to a certain extent with the cars that come in. If you are looking for an early Healey, this is a really solid example.
