his is a brand new replacement rotor for the alternator system on some vintage Honda models. The Honda OE rotors of these machines are prone to failure and Electrosport developed a high quality replacement rotor for these models. This rotor is a direct replacement for the OE rotor, and it comes with a full one year manufacturer's warranty.
Stock-style replacement rotor with an average resistance of 5.5 Ohms when new
Check the OE rotor resistance between the slip rings with a multimeter
If it is less than 4.3 Ohms the rotor is bad
Typical symptoms of a bad rotor are no charge to the batter
Often when the rotor fails due to internal shorting (resistance less than 2 Ohms) it will take out the voltage regulator/rectifier
We highly recommend the replacement of the regulator/rectifier as well upon installation of this rotor to be sure all systems are good on your bike
